We are potty training our 2.5 year old son. It’s not easy! He is very comfortable in diapers as long as he can.

We’ve tried giving him treats when he uses the potty, bought fun character underwear, and even tried to get him to play a game on our phones while he sits.

Right now there’s about a 20% chance he’ll hit the pot. The rest of the time we clean the floor. But that’s okay, it’s a learning process and I know he’ll get it eventually.

Meanwhile, I tried to come up with another incentive like cookies and snacks. And I settled for stickers!

I bought a bunch of fun stickers that I thought he would be very interested in and created this simple but fun potty training schedule. And today I’m happy to share it with you all too! I hope it helps you on your potty training journey!

Paw Patrol Potty Training Chart

Well, first you need to write your child’s name at the top of the page! My son actually knows a bunch of letters, so it might be fun to point out the letters as I spell his name when I write it down.

Then make sure you have some fun stickers on hand. Everything will work great! I like Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig stickers or whatever character he likes at the moment.

Now that that’s taken care of, you need to figure out some rewards that your child will enjoy. I set up this chart so that after 5 positive potty training experiences your child will receive a small reward.

Once you’ve completed the reward portion of the potty chart, the real challenge begins…getting your child to use the potty!

It’s entirely up to you! But whatever behavior you want to reinforce is when you put a sticker on the chart.

I would definitely recommend that your child choose the sticker they want and also let them put it on the graphic themselves. It will make them feel more involved and more enthusiastic about the process.
