Deposit Slip Template – The deposit receipt is issued to the payer after receiving the funds and the remaining balance must be paid later. Deposits represent the honest intent of the payer to pay the full amount owed for later goods or services. The so-called “advance payment” deposit is refundable depending on the conditions.
Deposits are used as security for honest efforts to fulfill and comply with agreements or purchases. For purchases such as cars, a deposit is usually required to hold the car so that the dealer does not sell the car to someone else. For landlords, deposit until the end of the lease with the rental price back if there is no damage to the property.

The buyer and seller or landlord and tenant negotiate the terms of the contract along with the amount that will be required as a deposit. Depending on the terms of the contract, the deposit can be refunded upon execution of the contract by the payer or at the end of the tenant’s lease.

Deposit will be made after the contract is completed and signed. After the payment is completed, the payer should be given a deposit slip, especially in the case of a cash payment indicating that the funds have been successfully distributed. The full name of the payer must be included in these documents as well. Enter his full name in the “Receive” line of this section of the receipt.
Then enter the full address of the payee on this document using the next two blank lines.
The “Deposit Price” section will try to determine the amount received and how that amount is submitted. First enter the two blank spaces on the statement starting with “This receipt is for …” and then write the actual dollar amount received by the payee on the first line. The second row in parentheses requires you to enter the same number as a number.
The three boxes below this statement will allow you to quickly record how the payment was received. If it is received as “Check” or “Cash”, check one of the applicable boxes. However, if the payer has entered this amount in the “Other” form, then tick the third box and enter this method in the space provided. This option is also useful if the payer has submitted more than one form of payment.

The deposit type section will also need attention. Describe the purpose for which the payer displays the above amount to the recipient in the blank line next to the phrase “Deposit is reserved”.
Below, be sure to indicate whether the amount received is ‘refundable’ or ‘non-refundable’. Return ‘by checking the appropriate box on the next line.
The last sentence of this section will also contain some sections that require your input to implement its language in this document. First, record the amount of dollars that the payer still owes, using the first two blank lines after the word “… balance due”. This material must be equipped by writing it on the first space and producing it digitally on the second space.
In the last blank line indicates the last date of the calendar when the amount owed to the payer should be received (after the word “… Order”).

The party receiving the relevant funds from the payer must certify this document by signature. Therefore, the payer must find and sign the “Authorized Signature” line.
