Introducing The Tongal Call Sheet Template
Production lines have everything you need to know when shooting. Like phone times, staff numbers, staff members, phone numbers and a bajillion other things. Are you ready to learn more? Let’s take it up.
At the top of the contact list, you’ll want to include contact information (usually phone numbers) for the most important people. This is different for each shoot, but usually includes the First Assistant Director (1st AD), Second Assistant Director (2nd AD) and Unit Production Manager (UPM).
Your invitation letter must include the name of your presentation (in case people have forgotten). If you’re feeling fancy, you can add a projector logo or other graphics to make it stand out. And if you’re working on an episodic TV show, be sure to include the episode number and title as well.
Next, you should set a general call time – the time when most of your staff should be available. However, most movie line sites will include specific times of the line. We hope you will not need this information. But it’s better to be more prepared in case things go wrong with Pete Tong on the day of the shoot. Knowing the nearest hospital is especially important if your movie set is in a remote location without phone service, such as in the mountains.
