INSTRUCTIONS: Just print on 11×14 card stock, cut and bind! We used white cotton thread from the hardware store and punched two small holes in the center near the front and back to tie each bird. To help create the feeling of flying, I folded the pleats in the middle of about two-thirds of the bird and left maybe one-third flat . For half of the folded birds, I made a small paper bridge attached to each wing and tied a string to the bridge and made a bird with its wings up.
