Daily Inventory – When we send our products to Amazon’s warehouse (FBA), we often need to know how many products are in Amazon’s warehouse, previous sales, ie. We need to know certain information such as order history and count of quantity currently available in Amazon warehouse. If any top or hot selling item is low in stock, we can ship them to FBA. We never lose a sale because a product is not available on Amazon.
From the daily inventory report, we can now find out how many items are in the Amazon warehouse in the total quantity of “FBA” and how many quantities are left in the Amazon warehouse. From this report, we can get a recommendation on what to send to Amazon’s warehouse. To prepare a current stock report in FBA, we use the tools provided on the Amazon website, as well as ChannelAdvisor, Linnworks, SellerCloud, etc.

In this article, we will describe how to create a daily inventory report file on Amazon. This article is divided into two parts, Part 1 covers how to download reports from ChannelAdvisor and Part 2 covers how to download reports from Amazon.

On the All Products page, go to the “Export” button on the right and select “Quantity Available” from the drop-down list.
Note: Make sure none of the columns have filters or you want to download all products in full.
On the Export Product page, under Export Fields, make sure you have selected the four product fields: SKU, Title, ASIN, Total Quantity. Once selected, click the Export button on the right to download the report.
Copy and paste all the data from the text file into a new Excel file and save the file as “DATE-Sales Report”, for example – “06302018 – Sales Report”.

Step 11: Download the Amazon Fulfilled Inventory report and when it’s ready, download the .txt file. Copy and paste the data into a new table.
Sort column E (warehouse-condition-code) in descending order and delete all rows with “not sold” as a condition. As these cannot be sold, it is not necessary to know their quantity.
Sort the “Vendor-SKU” column in descending order and delete all rows that are not FBA SKUs. Only stock SKUs with the “FBA” prefix.
Daily Log Inventory
Sort in ascending order and delete all rows with poorly formatted FBA SKUs (there may be a lot between FBA- and TD-TPU). Our regular SKU seems to be TD-TPUXXXX or FBA-TD-TPUXXXX. In the past, we accidentally created the wrong SKU by adding a lot in the middle of the FBA or that SKU. So there are some SKUs that look like it is FBA-TD-TPUXXXX (stock after FBA) or FBA-TD-TPUXXXX (gap between the SKUs). Once we create the SKUs, they are in the system forever and we have to manually delete them that way.
