Those who are physically fit and want to lose weight and stay in shape using extreme workouts have probably tried an insanity workout program before.

This type of workout program, led by fitness trainer Sean T, works the entire body and does it without any equipment, giving you the best results before and after. The fitness calendar app or printable program you currently use may or may not suit your needs. Most Insanity workouts are done 20 to 60 minutes at a time, 6 days a week for 60 days. There is also the Insanity Max 30 workout which lasts for 4 weeks.

To keep track of your routine, you need a calendar app that has a great overview. Depending on the type of program you sign up for, you will receive a calendar detailing these workouts. An insanity calendar should have your regular insanity workout schedule and pre-workouts.

There are free desktop calendar apps available for both PC and Mac users that have great features and can work great for crazy workouts. With these apps, you can add all your calendars in one place, making it easy to keep track of your workouts, meetings, or other family-related events.

With Google Calendar, you can easily have multiple calendars, so creating or adding a crazy workout calendar is pretty simple. Before doing any of the steps below, go to calendar.google.com.

I’ll be completely honest, I couldn’t relate to Shaun T even during the warm-up. For me, warming up is part of training. It’s only 5 minutes long, but the intensity starts right from the start.

The Insanity MAX:30 Cardio Challenge format involves performing 3 steps for 30 seconds 3 times. After completing a round, you have a 30 second break. So rounds last 4.5 minutes with 30 seconds of rest in between. This means we have 6 30 second breaks during a 30 minute workout.

There is not much time for rest and recovery. If you go hard in the beginning, I think you’ll burn out by the end. I try to move for 30 minutes without breaks. I walk by myself. However, I think Shaun T has designed the program so that you do NOT have to pace yourself. You keep going hard until you reach your maximum. In fact, he says several times during training that he wants us to win.

That’s the beauty of any Beachbody workout program. You can adapt it to YOUR goals and needs. I want to be able to push hard and finish my 30 minute workout without stopping. That’s exactly what I do. Even with the fight on Friday, which I think is the hardest training of 1 month.

As you can see, the Insanity MAX:30 week 2 schedule is the same as the first week. This means we have an opportunity to compare what we did in week 1 with week 2. It gives us a great way to track progress.

I’m trying really hard to get back into my diet after the holidays, but I wasn’t feeling so good today. I waited too long to eat enough calories and was craving junk food in the afternoon.
